Hire UGC creators.

Videos of real people using your product, for your ads and your own accounts. Post a brief for free, compare pitches with prices, and pay only when you book.

What you can hire.

Most brands start with UGC videos. You can add posts, editing and clips to the same campaign.

  • Reach

Creators post about your product on their own accounts, to their own audience.

For example: 5 skincare creators each post a TikTok about your SPF to their followers.

Usually $250 to $1,200 per post for creators with 10K to 100K followers.

  • Creation

Creators film videos for your own channels and ads. They don't post them.

For example: 10 videos of real people using your serum, which you post yourself or run as TikTok and Meta ads.

Usually $100 to $300 per video.

  • Editing

Editors turn footage you already have into polished ads and variations.

For example: Your 20-minute founder interview becomes 8 ads of 20 seconds, each with a different hook and captions.

Usually $40 to $150 per finished video.

  • Clipping

Clippers cut your long videos (podcasts, lives, founder videos) into short clips, delivered as files.

For example: One 60-minute podcast becomes 20 vertical clips of 30 seconds with captions, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Usually $10 to $40 per clip.

What to look for in a UGC creator.

Follower counts don't matter for UGC. Judge the videos: look at the creator's samples before you book and check for these.

  • Samples in your category

A creator who already films skincare routines will show your serum better than one who mostly reviews gadgets.

  • A hook in the first seconds

Watch the first three seconds of their samples. If you wouldn't stop scrolling, your customers won't either.

  • Natural on camera

UGC works because it looks like a real customer. Talking-to-camera samples show you how they come across.

  • Clear about rights

A good pitch says what you may do with the video and for how long, so there are no surprises when you run it as an ad.

What to put in your brief.

A clear brief gets better pitches and fewer rounds of changes. Our brief form walks you through most of it.

  • What the product is and who it's for
  • The kind of video: review, unboxing, routine, demo or testimonial
  • How many videos, how long, and by when
  • Where you'll use them: your own accounts, paid ads, or both, and for how long
  • Must-say points and anything to avoid
  • Whether you'll ship the product, and to which countries

Questions.

What is a UGC creator?

Someone a brand pays to film short videos that look like a real customer made them: reviews, unboxings, routines and demos. The brand posts the videos on its own accounts or runs them as ads. The creator doesn't need followers, because you're paying for the video, not their audience.

How much does it cost to hire a UGC creator?

On Hypeling, creators usually charge $100 to $300 per video. Longer videos, paid ad rights, extra hooks and raw footage cost more. You pay the creator's price plus a 10% Hypeling fee when you book, and there's no fee during the pilot.

What's the difference between UGC and influencer marketing?

With UGC you get the video files and post them yourself or run them as ads. With influencer marketing the creator posts to their own followers, so you pay for their audience. On Hypeling you can book either, or both in one campaign.

Can I run the videos as paid ads?

Yes, if your brief asks for paid usage. Every creator prices the rights into their pitch, for example paid ads for 12 months.

How fast do I get the videos?

You set the deadline in your brief, and creators pitch knowing it. Leave time for shipping the product if they need it in hand.

What if I don't like a video?

You review every video before the creator is paid and can ask for changes within 48 hours. If a creator can't deliver, we refund what you paid for their part.
